Shipping policy
Where we deliver
We deliver across mainland Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) using DPD's next-day chilled courier service. Delivery times vary by region — please see Delivery times by region below for full details. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland.
Delivery cost
Delivery is a flat rate of £7.90, regardless of delivery day. Orders over £100 qualify for free delivery.
Next-day delivery & order cut-off
Order before 1:30pm to be eligible for next-day delivery. Orders placed after 1:30pm will be dispatched for the following day. You can choose your preferred delivery date at checkout.
Delivery days & times
We deliver Tuesday through Saturday, throughout the year, between 10am and 6pm. As your order is delivered by DPD, we're unable to guarantee a specific time within this window — but you'll receive a one-hour delivery window on the day (see Tracking below).
Delivery times by region
While we aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible, delivery times do vary depending on where you are:
England & Wales (mainland)
Orders placed before 1:30pm qualify for next-day delivery to virtually all mainland postcodes.
Scotland — Central Belt & Lowlands
Most of mainland Scotland, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee and Aberdeen, also receives next-day delivery when ordered before 1:30pm.
Scotland — Highlands & Islands
Due to courier network limitations, some Highland and Island postcodes (including areas within IV, KW, HS, ZE, PA, PH and KA27–28) are not eligible for next-day delivery and may take an additional working day.
Other islands & remote areas
Certain other island and remote postcodes (including the Isle of Man (IM), Isle of Wight (PO30–41) and Isles of Scilly (TR21–25)) may also be subject to extended transit times.
As our products are perishable, we'll review any affected orders before dispatch and contact you to confirm a suitable delivery date — or arrange a refund if we're unable to deliver your order fresh. If you're unsure whether your postcode qualifies for next-day delivery, please get in touch before ordering and we'll be happy to check for you.
Freshness & packaging
Our beef is shipped in insulated packaging with gel ice packs to keep it fresh and at the right temperature throughout its journey to you.
Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, DPD will keep you updated every step of the way. Through DPD Predict, you'll receive notifications by text and/or email, including a one-hour delivery window on the day. You can track your parcel in real time and follow it on a live map as it makes its way to you.
Receiving your order
As our products are perishable, please ensure someone is available to receive your delivery, or provide safe delivery instructions at checkout when placing your order. If no one is available to accept the delivery and no safe-place instructions have been provided, DPD will follow their standard redelivery process. As fresh products cannot be left indefinitely, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss of quality where a delivery cannot be completed because no one was available to receive it. We strongly recommend choosing a delivery date when you know someone will be in.
Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. However, if there is ever a problem with your order, please contact us and we'll do our best to put it right.
